1. What Are Central Water Purification and Central Water Softening Systems?
A central water purification system is a secondary purification device installed on the main water line after the pre-filter. Its primary function is to remove colloids, bacteria, impurities, rust, silt, and certain organic substances and compounds from the water. Similar to a central air conditioning system, a central water purification system ensures that purified water flows from every faucet in the home, providing clean water for the kitchen, bathroom, balcony, living room, and other areas. This meets all household water needs, including drinking, cooking, washing, and bathing.
Central Water Softener: A third-stage purification device installed on a branch line downstream of the central water purifier. The water softener alters water hardness by removing calcium and magnesium ions, while also adsorbing excess iron ions. It achieves a high removal rate for hardness (water alkalinity), providing comprehensive softening for the household’s bathing water. It is typically used for daily hygiene, bathing, and laundry.

First, Material Composition
As with other water purification equipment, the materials used in central water purification systems must meet food-grade standards to ensure product stability. Additionally, the system must undergo rigorous water hammer testing before leaving the factory to effectively withstand the damage caused by water hammer. Water inlet and outlet connections must maintain the system’s密封 integrity and enhance its pressure resistance. Second, Filtration Method

Fourth, Service Life
Water purifiers typically specify their rated total filtration capacity. Service life varies by model. Failure to replace filter cartridges in a timely manner may cause previously filtered substances to backflow, contaminating the water quality.

Key considerations when selecting a central water softener include:
1) Based on the operating principle of the central water softener, can it seamlessly perform softening, backwashing, brine regeneration, salt tank refilling, and rinse cycles? More importantly: Does it feature a separate salt tank (Shibokang water softeners use a separate salt tank)?
2) Can the system be intelligently programmed to automatically schedule backwash cycles, ensuring optimal softening performance? Does it use high-quality resin (which has strong exchange capacity, is resistant to damage, and has a normal service life of several years)?
3) Does it allow monitoring of the unit’s operational status? Does it feature automatic backwashing to prevent clogging, eliminating the need for manual intervention?
4) Does it feature microprocessor-controlled regeneration technology? This technology ensures thorough resin regeneration, guarantees high-quality softened water, and effectively extends the resin’s lifespan.
